Beacons actively reimagines the spectral relationship between the body and Bluetooth beacons surveillance technology.

Bluetooth beacons is a device planted in stores to track one’s physical in-store location, generating interactive Instagram advertisements to customers for real-time engagement with product placements in spaces.

Using on-site generated ads and altering them by re-photographing, physical and digital manipulation, folding, and scanning, the series aims to make visible these bodily relations with regard to the Bluetooth tracking network that we unknowingly engage with every day.
